LOFT IN KOUKAKI

2020 - This 2 level store in the heart of Athens centre was converted into a 3 bedroom flat for a family of four. On the first level a living space with the kitchen and two wcs are situated. The living space opens up to a courtyard. On the mezzanine level there are 3 bedrooms, all with their own bathrooms.  

The concept was based on the fluidity of the space. Interior and exterior spaces are continuous and there is an effortless flow of movement vertically and horizontally. The light sips in from the front and back facades. White and black were chosen to separate walls from the metal structures and to accentuate the sculptural morphology of the space.
